 Effective communication is essential to doing business successfully in the 21st century.  The most successful organizations are those who know how to create an environment that encourages, values and rewards effective communicators. Regardless of size, organizations that value communication realize greater results than their counterparts.  Completing this workshop will assist you in becoming a more effective communicator.   

Purpose & Objectives

This workshop is designed to help you understand the importance of effective communication skills to personal and professional success.  Effective communicators understand that communication is a complex process that can often be challenging.

·        Learn the communication process

·        Identify five levels of communication

·        Learn the benefits of effective communication

·        Identify the barriers to effective communication

This workshop is designed to help you understand the role communication plays in leadership, particularly in a supervisory role.  The role of a supervisor requires additional communication skills; developing those skills takes time and effort, but results in more effective performance and higher productivity.
